Over the past 20 years I have written or contributed to quite a few books on Database Design and Implementation topics.
Staring in SQL Server 2000, I have published a series books on database design for Apress.
Reference book that packs hundreds of solutions, tips, and workarounds–all you need to plan, implement, manage, and secure SQL Server 2019 in any production environment: on-premises, cloud, or hybrid. Cowritten with Randolph West, William Assaf, Melody Zacharias, Sven Aelterman, and Joseph D'Antoni
One of my most and least (it was a grueling project!) favorite projects is this book that Tim Ford and I wrote on the Dynamic Management Views for Red-Gate. While it has been out for nearly 8 years, it is still a great reference for the base DMV objects. The e-book is available for FREE from Red-Gate, or you can purchase a dead tree version from Amazon.
Introductory book on how and why to implement SQL Server on Azure VMs. I wrote the first chapters overviewing the Azure SQL Offerings. Cowritten with Joey D'Antoni, Allan Hirt, John Martin, Anthony Nocentino, Tim Radney and Randolf West
